Branka Kuzmanović

Branka Kuzmanović is creating depersonalised spaces in her works. In a very controlled, disciplined, at times obsessive, process, she is abstracting spaces from individual fragments.
She is devising new unities, new areas, a new sort of “non-places”, “no man’s land”, the zones of mingling between private and public, fictive and real, or mental and physical, architectural space.
Branka Kuzmanović, born in Paris in 1967. She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1994 and completed postgraduate studies at the same faculty in 1997. She works at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade. She has exhibited at numerous independent and group exhibitions locally and abroad.
