Bright, almost fluorescent colours highlight the Pop-art manner in which the artist works to represent reality and fiction in the form of a comic strip. With the use of various and “peculiar” colours, the objects and people are being transformed into something else, something entirely new.
Danijen Babić, born in Očauš, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 1967. He graduated from the College of Fine and Applied Arts in Belgrade, and the Arts Academy in Novi Sad, the Department of Painting, in 1995. He has taken part in numerous collective exhibitions locally and abroad.
