The abstract image of imaginary leisure, the pseudo prosaic “common” life, that sphere, in which an individual departs from society and eventually returns to him or her self… Leisure, as the only subject that preoccupies the painter for years, is socially indifferent only at first glance.

Aleksandar M. Dimitrijević, born in Užice in 1977. He graduated painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Novi Sad, in 2004. He got his MA from the same faculty, the sketching department, in 2006.
