The person represented is no one else but Damien Hirst, the most famous world artist at the time, who revolutionized art in the mid-nineties with series of unconventional works that shocked the whole world. Momir creates the portrait of this artist by ironically stating the fact that Damien became a sort of a divinity in the contemporary art world.
Momir Bulović was born in Sombor, Serbia, in 1977. He graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, Serbia, Department of Painting, in 2001. He lives and works in New York.
