The artist is exploring above all (the form and) the possibilities of transformation of the drawing as a classical art medium into a new, multifunctional and interactive structure. Black and white surfaces and empty areas that are the result of cutting out of paper produce an interesting play of shadows and forms.
Saša Pančić, born 1965. Graduated painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, in 1989, and completed postgraduate studies of sketching at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, with Prof. Dragan Lubarda, in 1992. Member of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia and Académie Européenne des ARTS a.s.b.l.
