Bearing in mind that sculpture and the treatment of form in space are this artist’s main vocation, this installation is one possible link as to how the identical principle she is using in sculpture can, literally speaking, be applied to other media, in this case to ambiental installation. Thus, the link between double signs is being established, and the content and form overlap creating a single unit.
Željka Momirov, born 1962 in Novi Sad. BA in sculpture from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade in 1987, and MA from the same Faculty in 1993.
